MineSec achieves PCI MPoC certification for Isolated SDK.

MineSec is proud to announce its achievement of the PCI MPoC certification for its Isolated SDK. MineSec was officially published as MPoC Software Vendor (Isolated SDK) on 21 May 2024 and anticipates their certification status for A&M Service Provider to occur imminently.

The PCI MPoC standard establishes rigorous security requirements for mobile-based contactless payment solutions. Achieving this certification demonstrates MineSec’s dedication to safeguarding sensitive customer data and ensuring secure transactions within its SoftPOS solutions.

“The achievement of PCI MPoC certification is testament of our commitment to providing robust and secure payment technology,” says Stone Zhong, Chief Technology Officer of MineSec. “With this certification, we look forward to facilitating broader adoption of our SoftPOS solution and supporting payment innovations worldwide.”

Visa has also recently issued a new directive that simplifies the development process for SoftPOS solutions built upon PCI MPoC certified isolated SDKs. This directive eliminates the need for individual SoftPOS solutions to undergo separate evaluations, provided they utilizes pre-certified SDKs like MineSec’s  SoftPOS SDK.

“This new directive from Visa presents a significant advantage for developers seeking to create their own SoftPOS solutions,” says Damien Chow, Chief Product Officer of MineSec. “We invite SoftPOS developers to explore the power and ease of using our certified Isolated SDK, to streamline development, ensure compliance, and accelerate time to market.”
